My Tampa Bay Buccaneers have seen some hard times. Over the years, they had their fair share of bad luck.
They survived being totally shut out their opening season (0-14, 1976).
They drafted Hall of Famer Steve Young and then traded him because they had drafted Vinny Testaverde, who they also traded away.

(John MacArthur, Pulpit Magazine, December 2006)
That’s what John Macarthur had to say about Mark Driscoll, pastor of Mars Hill Church [...]

I have to be honest with you. All the hype about megachurches and church growth strategies and vision statements and Purpose-Driven™ whatever is really getting thin with me. For awhile there, I was intrigued by churches like Willow Creek Community Church and Saddleback Church; and I have to admit, those churches are pretty [...]

Being raised in an arch-conservative, ultra-fundamentalist tradition, it still boggles my mind that guys like John Piper and Mark Driscoll find common ground and work together in the ministry. On the surface, they are about as different as two leaders can be.
